Spouse Cultural Integration

4-Hour Culture Integration Training w/Spouse

The half day training with the spouse focuses on the issues which are most important to the participant – highlighting the most appropriate means for her/him to achieve integration in Danish society and begin to feel that daily life here is as interesting as the life left behind.

Topics:

  Important facts about cross-culture adjustments and points to keep in mind.
     
  Brief introduction to Danish history, political situation, religion and economy.
     
  Specific information on cultural differences between own and Danish culture.
    The focus will be mainly on social and family aspects, e.g. how to build
    relationships with Danes, making new friends, time-concept issues,
    net-working possibilities, general information regarding practical issues and
    social etiquette.
     
  Exploration of problems to be aware of in order to minimize culture shock.
